The third Pleasures of Beltane camp will be taking place from May 1-5, 2025. Camp will be at a new, more physically accessible location at the Community of the Great Commission (CGC Camp) on Nisenan land in Foresthill, CA! More details on accessibility here:

All teachers and campers are expected to attend the entire event from Thursday afternoon to Monday afternoon. You must be 18+ years of age to attend and have taken Reclaiming Elements of Magic or equivalent classes.🪄

Registration Process

Because of the nature of this camp, the registration process has to be a little more involved than simply filling out a short form and sending in a deposit.  Everyone's safety and comfort is of primary concern. 

There is a rather detailed application form here for you to fill out. This form is a way for us to get to know about you. This form is confidential and will only be shared among the camp organizers.  We are switching to using Jotform this year so your information is encrypted. Jotform also has a number of built in accessibility features and should work well with screen readers and you will have the option to save your drafts before submitting the form. Saving the form will require you to sign up with Jotform. If filling out the application form isn't accessible to you in this way please reach out to us at pleasuresofbeltane@gmail.com and we will sort out an alternative option. 

After the form is submitted, you will hear from us within seven days. If you are a new camper, we will set you up for an interview with two of the organizers. This will be an opportunity for us to learn more about each other, and answer any questions you may have. If you are a returning camper, you may skip the interview if you wish, or sign up just to say hi or ask any questions.

After being accepted as a camper, all applicants will be asked for a non-refundable deposit of $100 (unless paying less than this to attend camp) within 7 days to hold your space.  You are welcome to pay the remainder of your camp fees in a lump sum or installments, with the final payment  due by March 1, 2025. 

Camp Size is small! We are limiting the total population of camp to 50 people, including organizers and teachers. Get your application in as soon as you can!

Camp Costs

The sliding scale camp cost for Pleasures of Beltane 2025 is $475-850.  Your payment includes accommodations (shared cabin or tent/vehicle camping), meals from dinner on the night we arrive to breakfast on the day we depart, and all camp activities. We are hoping people can donate as generously as possible to support financial access to camp for others!

In an attempt to create more access to Pleasures of Beltane for folks facing financial scarcity we offer a number of camper spots below our general sliding scale cost. These spots can be anywhere from $0-474 based on what you tell us you can afford. We offer as many of these spots as we are able to while still covering the base costs of camp. These spots are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis and there is a clear place in the applicaiton form to indicate if you need one of them.

We openly acknowledge that Reclaiming is a majority-white and often ableist community and seek to change this, knowing systemic change is never quick or easy. One of the steps we have taken towards this is to have a two-tiered registration process. Registration will open first for both ableism-impacted/disabled community members and BIPOC*/PGM** community members. 

We recognize that the impacts of systemic oppression often mean these members of our communities are more likely to face financial scarcity. It is our hope that in offering early registration and first chance at our lower cost spots more of our community members impacted in this way will be able to attend POB.

This is only one step in making POB more accessible and it is our hope that in co-creating a welcoming environment throughout camp and beyond, Pleasures of Beltane may continue to bring magical pleasure to the widest variety of witches on our vast and varied Earth!
